Hi Party People!! Long time no talk. I won’t hold y’all for too long. Pictured above, you’ll see a photo from an amazing birthday dinner I attended in DC! It kicked off a slew of good vibes DC was ready to send my way. Life has been moving fast since then. So fast that I had to remind myself to celebrate the small wins that I’m about to share with y’all.
New menu item, who dis?
Ok so first – I got a DM from Foxtrot Market inviting me to try their new Spicy Dippin’ Sticks. It was the first time I was reached out to by a food establishment based off my content!! Their closest location is was in DC. For those who don’t know, I’m based in Baltimore so DC takes a lil effort to get to so I haven’t made it down yet. Unfortunately looks like the opportunity has passed since they suddenly closed all their locations a few weeks after I got the DM. I had never heard of Foxtrot Market before but as a proud conscious (AKA bougie) shopper, I would’ve loved to check them out!
You’re cordially invited to…
Shortly after that I received another DM to attend Mecha Noodle Bar’s soft opening located in….drumroll please…you guessed it: DC! The soft opening was from 5-8 on a weekday so it was impossible for me to make it after work. And no, my guilty conscience would never allow me to use a sick day for a day when I’m not actually sick LOL. So I chatted with their social media manager afterwards and she reassured me to let them know when I’m in town so they can take care of me! Super sweet, but also, who am I? I feel so proud to be offered to get taken care of because I simply post food that I love to eat. What a life!!

That’s not all!
To top it off, Washington DC Bucket List featured my video on their instagram page. I gained a handful of new followers – my first batch of organic followers outside of my supportive friends and family!
So what’s next?

Creating Itineraries. I’ve had people reach out on social media asking for things to do for a weekend visit to Baltimore. I just left LA and planned things out on a whim but we had such a great time that I want to have an itnerary ready to share with others. I’ve also had someone ask for birthday weekend suggestions in DC. I love planning things so it’s super fun for me to put it together. Cherry on top that people might find it useful!

Moving to DC. Kidding. But I do appreciate the love DC has shown me and I’ll be taking advantage of how conveniently close I am this summer.
Thank you for making it this far! Special shoutout to those of you who have mentioned that you enjoy reading these blogs. As much as I talk to myself, it’s super reassuring to know someone’s listening.
Much love!! <33
